Authors in the Spotlight 11/30

In today's Authors in the Spotlight, we have author Amelia Rucker!

----------------------------------------------------------

Name: Amelia Rucker

How long have you been published? I have been published going on two years.

What's the worst part about being published? I would have to say trying your best to reach a deadline, but life gets in the way.

What's the best part about being published? The best part of being published is feeling good to make readers smile. I started out as a reader before God blessed me with the gift of writing.

Are you self published or did you go through a publishing company? I am self published. I was signed to a publishing company, but things went haywire due to the content of my first novel.

*What are the highs, if any? The best high of self publishing is being my own boss.

*What are the lows, if any? Self marketing can bring a lot of financial hurt.

What is the name of your book(s)? Love Don't Come Easy Part One(currently being rewritten), Love Don't Come Easy Part Two (currently being rewritten), and Shattered

Was it/were they an easy write for you? Yes, but there comes a time in every author's writing career where the plot takes another turn. I had to write Love Don't Come Easy part one like ten times the first time.

What's the hardest part about writing a book? The hardest part of writing a book is finishing it. Writing a book is a journey. There have been multiple books I have started on but only three have been published.

What's the easiest part about writing a book? Starting on a book is the easiest part about writing a book.

Where can interested readers purchase their copy of your book(s)? Amazon but hopefully soon, inside of Books A Million stores.

Do you have any future projects in the works? Yes, I am currently working on my fourth novel which will be an urban Christian Interracial Romance.

*Is there a tentative release date? Before 2018 rolls around

Do you have any social media sites that you would like to share with my readers? Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram

Thank you for your time and I look forward to reading more from you in the future! Thank you so much for having me. May God continue to bless you.

Join me next week as I bring you more authors!
