Wake Up Call By Ashleigh Epps
Are you sleep,
Gun shots in the street
Could it be...
Did they hit me?
Click click the gun is empty
Tires screech
Car gets away
Tell me did the bullet stray
Did they take my life away?
Will I live to see another day?
I guess it’s time to pray
God, please hear my plea
Don’t let this blood spill from me
Give me strength to see
I open my eyes and start to cry
It’s not my time to die
God gave me one more day
So now the streets I’ll stay away!
